  • Charles Henry is a pen name.
  • I am the author of Lessons by the Hour.
  • I was born and raised in a small town of 5,000 people in central Pennsylvania.
  • I attended public schools there.
  • I earned a Master’s and Doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
  • I served a one year internship in psychology at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Bethesda, MD.
  • I served in the U.S. Navy for four years and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA and Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA
  • I had a private psychology practice in southern California for 20 years. I shared an office with two psychiatrist
  • I was a professor at the California Graduate Institute where I taught psychotherapy, statistical methods and research design for 12 years.
  • I was an Associate Professor at the University of California at Irvine, Medical School, Department of Psychiatry where I supervised psychiatric residents for 12 years.
  • I have been retired for 20 years.
