- Charles Henry is a pen name.
- I am the author of Lessons by the Hour.
- I was born and raised in a small town of 5,000 people in central Pennsylvania.
- I attended public schools there.
- I earned a Master’s and Doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
- I served a one year internship in psychology at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Bethesda, MD.
- I served in the U.S. Navy for four years and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA and Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA
- I had a private psychology practice in southern California for 20 years. I shared an office with two psychiatrist
- I was a professor at the California Graduate Institute where I taught psychotherapy, statistical methods and research design for 12 years.
- I was an Associate Professor at the University of California at Irvine, Medical School, Department of Psychiatry where I supervised psychiatric residents for 12 years.
- I have been retired for 20 years.
